I have updated the FP-4 to the latest drivers from the Roland site and have all software up to date. Wondered if anyone had any experience of this here? Whenever I have the FP-4 connected via USB, Logic X seems to trigger a C note on every beat. Since upgrading to both Logic Pro X and Mavericks I have encountered this. I have been using my FP-4 for donkeys years with Logic without issue. I have the Roland connected with a MOTU Fastlane USB interface with Midi In/Out and also audio cables from the keyboard connected to a Focusrite Saffire Pro 40 so I can recored Midi data or the actual sounds from the Roland. I tried turning Local Control off on the Roland, but then I got no sound. I have searched, but just can’t figure out how to solve this issue. Using GM mode on the Roland, I hear GM 01 Piano when when I select that program on the Logic Pro track, but I can only record some of the notes being played on the keyboard. I am hearing the correct program note being played ie.

Also, I sometimes here other sounds getting recorded from the keyboard onto the track and stuck notes as well. in the Logic Transport window, but when I try to play notes on the Roland to record Midi onto a track in Logic, only some of the notes get recorded. I have been able to connect the keyboard and I am getting notes C3, D3 etc. I am trying to set-up my Roland XP-30 Midi Synth Keyboard to work with Logic Pro 9 on an iMac.
